HIV Update: The Future of HIV Funding Including Ryan White: Economic Constraints and How Do We Adapt?

Donna Elaine Sweet, MD, AAHIVS, MACP is a Professor of Internal Medicine at The University of Kansas, School of Medicine in Wichita. She is also Principal Investigator and Director for the school’s Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources program where she operates grants under Ryan White Parts B, C, and D. In addition, Dr. Sweet is a co-founder and the Principal Investigator for the Kansas AIDS Education and Training Center and Principal Investigator for a HOPWA grant funded program, Kansas Care Through Housing. She is chair of the American Academy of HIV Medicine and co-chair of the national Health HIV board. In addition, she is Chair Emeritus of the American College of Physicians (ACP) Board of Regents, the nation's largest medical specialty society and is an American Medical Association delegate.
